I’ve never really viewed myself as a boss, even though I’ve been responsible for employees and volunteers for over 20 years. The word ‘boss’ just seems to hold so many potentially negative connotations that I prefer to view myself as a growing leader. That said, technically I’m the boss of those I lead. It is one of my greatest aspirations to be the best boss my team members will ever have.
